Doctor-Wallace.com

Client: Dr. Tristin Wallace

Site: http://www.doctor-wallace.com Synopsis: Dr. Tristin Wallace is a Vancover, BC based Naturopath and Applied Kinesiologist. After 8-months of fits and starts with a local web designer, I helped Doctor Wallace find a solution that would get her online as quickly as possible, yet make sure her web site would be easy to navigate and look beautiful. Because time was of the essence and there were cost concerns, I recommended using the Health & Beauty theme from OrganicThemes.com. The theme comes configured with a marquee for either images or video; a panel for introductory text; the ability to swap out a logo; the ability to add thumbnail images as creative for to delineate the site’s main sections; and drop-down navigation. It was the perfect solution for Dr. Wallace, so that she could learn the ins and outs of Wordpress, while dreaming up a custom theme in the future. In less than 72-hours:
 • I installed and configured Wordpress on Dr. Wallace’s hosting account at Godaddy.
 • added appropriate php.ini file to ensure Wordpress would function well on the server.
 • acquired Health & Beauty theme from OrganicThemes.com.
 • configured the theme in the admin control panel.
 • assisted Dr. Wallace in plotting out the navigation and adding content.
 • assisted Dr. Wallace in setting up the “testimonials” category to publish her patient’s testimonials to the home page slider.
 • performed a bit of light graphic design to create a custom logo and custom images for placement throughout the web site.
 • created SEO opportunities throughout the site by setting the permalinks and installing All-In-One-SEO.
 • searched for and installed various plug-ins for form building, Google maps, ShareThis, spam control, newsletter, Twitter & Facebook, hiding posts, and even online scheduling of appointments.
 • trained Dr. Wallace in how to publish with Wordpress, create keywords and be an SEO-jedi master!
 • we registered her site with GetClicky to track stats and installed a Google XML site map generator, to get her up to speed with Google, Bing, and Yahoo!

OmniGraffle 5 http://tonyzeoli.com/omnigraffle-layers-bezier-site-maps-wire-frames-user-work-flow-information-architectures-user-experience-design/ Fri, 12 Mar 2010 19:59:29 +0000 http://tonyzeoli.com/?p=40 Note: I recovered this post from an earlier version of this blog, which was lost when I changed hosting providers. Interaction design has come a long way from simply sketching out ideas on pencil and paper, to powerful tools that enable Information Architects and User Experience Designers to diagram and prototype complex Web sites, mobile applications and social media widgets. There are a growing number of resources to choose from. Some remain desktop-based, while others are “in the cloud” software-as-a-service applications. Each have their benefits and drawbacks. The most widely used desktop software, Microsoft Visio, is unfortunately PC only. What’s a Mac enthusiast to do? Fortunately, there are options.

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="350" caption="Celebrations.com Site Map"]Celebrations.com Site Map[/caption]
For the example pictured here—the Celebrations.com Site Map—I used the excellent OmniGraffle Professional 5 from OmniGroup. With each new release, OmniGraffle becomes more powerful and flexible. Need to show gradients? It’s a snap with the Style-Shadow feature. Need to add additional magnets to an object? You can do that too in Properties: Connections.
[caption id="attachment_64" align="aligncenter" width="243" caption="Omnigraffle 5 - Style - Shadow (Gradient)"]Omnigraffle 5 - Style - Shadow (Gradient)[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_65" align="aligncenter" width="247" caption="OmniGraffle 5 - Properties - Magnets"]OmniGraffle 5 - Properties - Magnets[/caption]
One of my favorite new features is the bezier lines tool, which you’ve probaly used in graphics programs like Adobe Illustrator. With OmniGraffle Professional 5, you can now create custom shapes—a trick not possible in earlier versions.
[caption id="attachment_67" align="aligncenter" width="228" caption="Omnigraffle 5 - Bezier Tool"]Omnigraffle 5 - Bezier Tool[/caption] [caption id="attachment_66" align="aligncenter" width="177" caption="OmniGraffle 5 - Bezier - Shape"]OmniGraffle 5 Bezier Shape[/caption]
When I first started using OmniGraffle, I wasn’t clear on how to use its Layers feature to my advantage. As I’ve grown accustomed to the software, creating Layers has certainly helped me build lengthy documents quickly and efficiently. Like any good graphic design software, OmniGraffle Professional 5 Layers feature gives you the ability to create your Web site model in step-by-step fashion, by enabling the turning on or off of objects not intended for every page. I generally add sitewide features to my first canvas by creating separate layers for sitewide objects. For example, the header, footer, navigation or any static sidebar elements. You may also lock a layer, hide a layer, or hide from print a layer. The hide from print feature allows you to see the layer in your document, but prevent it from printing on paper or to PDF.
[caption id="attachment_68" align="aligncenter" width="180" caption="OmniGraffle 5 - Layers"]OmniGraffle 5 - Layers[/caption]
Using the CNTRL key (Mac users) and selecting New Layer from the drop-down menu, I’ll add a new layer we’ll call Content.
[caption id="attachment_69" align="aligncenter" width="220" caption="OmniGraffle 5 - Add New Layer"]OmniGraffle - Add New Layer[/caption]
I can now insert text into the Content layer.
[caption id="attachment_70" align="aligncenter" width="200" caption="OmniGraffle 5 - Name Layer"]OmniGraffle 5 Name Layer[/caption]
Copying a canvas is easy. I’ll click once to select the Home canvas. Using the CNTRL-Click method once again, I’ll create a copy of the canvas by selecting “Duplicate Canvas” from the drop-down menu, and name it Landing Page 1.
[caption id="attachment_71" align="aligncenter" width="200" caption="OmniGraffle 5- Copy Canvas"]OmniGraffle 5 - Copy Canvas[/caption]
I now have a duplicate of the previous canvas named Landing Page 1. You can see that the eye under the Conent layer is set to off. I’ve added a new layer, Hero Box, to the currently selected canvas. Voila! I’ve created a new page for my site model without having to manually duplicate my work over and over again from canvas to canvas or layer to layer.
[caption id="attachment_72" align="aligncenter" width="200" caption="OmniGraffle 5 - Canvas - Duplicate Canvas"]OmniGraffle 5 - Canvas - Duplicate Canvas[/caption]
As you can see, Layers are extremely useful when creating your OmniGraffle Professional 5 documents. Did you notice the orange layer, Page Title? It’s a shared layer, which means that it can be created once and be copied to every page, while carrying with it the same exact content contained in the original layer. Observe also how I am using the shared layer feature to add a Document Title, Canvas Name and Document Creation Date across the entire document. Each time you create a new canvas, simply drag your shared layer down (or up) to the canvas you want to copy it to, then simply drop it in, the same way you might drag and drop a file on your desktop into a new folder. Instead of moving it entirely, Omnigraffle Professional 5 will make an exact duplicate of the shared layer, placing it into the canvas you chose. Pretty neat trick and very useful for elements you’ll need to make consistent throughout your document. I use it frequently for numbering pages (Page 1 of 27, etc…). As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, OmniGraffle Professional 5 is not the only choice out there. I just happen to be getting pretty good at it and love it for a number of reasons, which I’ll get into in later posts. If you’re looking for other solutions, here’s a list desktop and SaaS programs I’ve found for creating anything from site maps to wire frames and working, clickable prototypes: Desktop Software: SaaS ]]>

Well, that search finally came to a long awaited end tonight, when my girlfriend pulled out the plastic so that we could get finally get out of the 1999 Honda Accord LX that we've been beating into the ground. Yup, that's the new (actually, certified pre-owned) vehicle in the photo. We think we got a pretty good deal. Not only will she be happy driving to work in a new(er) car everyday; I won't have to be dragged between Honda dealers in Brewster, Tarrytown, White Plains, and Yonkers. The goal was to get a 2005 or 2006 Honda Accord, but the price in this economy was a bit high. We settled on a budget conscious car we knew would last and got great gas mileage. After driving the 6-cylinder Accord for so long, downshifting to a 4-cylinder took a little getting used to. But, it's a peppy little car with decent pick-up. I'm certain we're going to try our best to keep this car out of the city. It seems as if they're fixing the Willis Avenue bridge or maybe building a new ramp to the current one. If your coming up Harlem River Drive, as you approach the bridge, there is major construction going on. The roads are absolutely horrible, to the point that New York City should pay for any damage done to cars traversing that area. It's really horrific. I usually drive up the East Side to save a few dollars on the toll at the Henry Hudson Bridge. Now that we have the Civic, I guess the choice is clear. It's either take the Civic through the no-man's land that is the Willis Avenue Bridge, or give $2.75 to NYC each time we cross the bridge.]]> 110 2010-04-30 22:32:17 2010-05-01 03:32:17 open open our-new-2007-certified-pre-owned-honda-civic-ex publish 0 0 post 0 aktt_notify_twitter _aktt_hash_meta _edit_lock _edit_last _aioseop_title _aioseop_description wordbooker_options aktt_tweeted _aioseop_keywords dsq_thread_id 9 mholstein@urbansol.com 216.46.64.227 2010-05-03 14:31:43 2010-05-03 19:31:43 mholstein@urbansol.com or 718 219 1606.]]> 1 0 0 B2B blogging and publishing with iPhone Wordpress App http://tonyzeoli.com/b2b-blogging-and-publishing-with-iphone-wordpress-app/ Sat, 22 May 2010 19:00:00 +0000 http://tonyzeoli.com/wordcamp-raleigh-b2b-blogging-and-publishing-with-the-iphone-wordpress-app/ a young girl who posted 14,528 texts in one month. While that's an anomaly, companies like Twitter, Jaiku, and the defunct Pownce responded to the demand for applications to post quick, short updates using mobile devices. While each company provides the ability to post updates on a website, most posts come from mobile handsets, which provide a constant connection to the web. My girlfriend recently checked out You Are Not A Gadget for me from the Bronxville Public Library. I'm not even 20 pages in yet, but have already been introduced to author Jared Lanier's belief that the use of status updates have had a negative affect on interpersonal communication. Whether that's true or not depends on how we value social media tools in our daily lives. Our children are being trained to communicate in short bursts of information, communicating in acronyms and hacking punctuation to create smiley faces and frowns as a substitute for words. Young people have always created new forms of communication. There isn't much different in that regard, but we race to understand it and try to limit it, without even really comprehending its affect on us. While I'm pro social media, one can't ignore that communication has been irrevocably altered. While some argue SMS and status updates are disrupting the art of writing, which will lead to the decline of Western Civilization as we know it; others say that technology innovation makes improvements to our lives that we have yet to fully understand. Why use so many words to explain simple concepts? Status updates are brief and too the point. Once the wheel was invented, people chose to drive over walking. I'm sure there are those who argue nothing beats walking, but others embrace progress and use the new tools to their advantage, speeding by who they consider the walking fool. To each his or her own in this world. Let the chips fall where they may. For bloggers, it's easy to fall prey to the allure of SMS and status updates. As I use the Wordpress App for iPhone, I realize there are three distinct issues for those who want to publish long form text on mobile devices. The first issue is screen size. It's very difficult to view what you're already written that is hidden behind a scroll. You can only really see a few lines of text, which impacts your ability to quickly refer to what you've already written. The second issue is typing for an extended period on a mobile device. The size of the keys in portrait mode are difficult to master. Constant spelling errors abound. And, Wordpress on the iPhone doesn't identify spelling errors. You have to be on point and make sure there are no mistakes. And third, I'm here (I was here, I'm back at the hotel room now trying to salvage this post) in at the Four Points Sheraton in Raleigh, NC attending Wordcamp Raleigh. It was pretty easy for me to pull out my iPhone and tweet, Facebook my status, and use FourSquare to tag my location. I'm here at the listening to Jeffrey L. Cohen from Howard, Merrell, and Partners give a presentation on business blogging, which reminded me of a conversation I recently had with my girlfriend, who asked me why I post status updates instead of using my blog as my outlet. She knows that if I publish to my blog, Twitter Tools will post an update to Twitter, which is linked to my Facebook profile. Why not publish my thoughts on my blog and drive traffic, instead of ignoring the site in favor of the others? The answer lies in the time it takes for someone to blog at a conference. If I were just attending Wordcamp Raleigh as a blogger to cover the event, things might be different. I might have more time to sit down and publish an extended post about what I've learned. But, I'm attending as a business owner. I'm not only taking in the sessions, I'm also networking and talking business. With Jeffrey and my girlfriend's comments on business blogging in mind, I thought I'd pull out my iPhone, fire up the Wordpress app, and do what I tell my clients to do all the time. It took me about 3-hours to fully complete this post. And, once completed, while I thought my post was saved correctly, somehow I lost the entire post and had to go back and remember everything I wrote to recreate the original intent. I consider myself an expert on Wordpress, having blogged and constructed sites on the platform for the past 8-years. Today, when it comes to blogging over mobile using Wordpress for iPhone, the key word is "FAIL." That sure won't happen again! Maybe an iPad will solve the problem.]]> 116 2010-05-22 14:00:00 2010-05-22 19:00:00 open open b2b-blogging-and-publishing-with-iphone-wordpress-app publish 0 0 post 0 aktt_notify_twitter wordbooker_options aktt_tweeted _aktt_hash_meta _edit_lock geo_latitude geo_longitude geo_accuracy geo_public _edit_last _aioseop_title _aioseop_description _aioseop_keywords _wp_old_slug dsq_thread_id 10 webindianic@gmail.com http://www.indianic.com/iphone-3G-applications-development-hire-developers.html 202.131.123.17 2010-05-29 07:07:02 2010-05-29 12:07:02 1 0 0 l_1600_1200_DCCA9665-B7B2-4E74-ADF7-EA6D196D6843.jpeg http://tonyzeoli.com/b2b-blogging-and-publishing-with-iphone-wordpress-app/l_1600_1200_dcca9665-b7b2-4e74-adf7-ea6d196d6843-jpeg/ Sat, 22 May 2010 21:50:33 +0000 http://tonyzeoli.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/l_1600_1200_DCCA9665-B7B2-4E74-ADF7-EA6D196D6843.jpeg 115 2010-05-22 16:50:33 2010-05-22 21:50:33 open open l_1600_1200_dcca9665-b7b2-4e74-adf7-ea6d196d6843-jpeg inherit 116 0 attachment 0 http://tonyzeoli.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/l_1600_1200_DCCA9665-B7B2-4E74-ADF7-EA6D196D6843.jpeg _wp_attached_file _wp_attachment_metadata My experience pitching investors at Hatch Match http://tonyzeoli.com/my-experience-pitching-investors-at-hatch-match/ Sun, 06 Jun 2010 06:53:20 +0000 http://tonyzeoli.com/?p=121 Hatch Match event sponsored by The Hatchery. I'd never been to a Hatch Match, but wanted to get the experience of pitching to investors in 5-minutes. Bell rings and times up. After the first two 5-minute pitches, I quickly was able to hone my message down to the bare essentials. I realized while I had my deck with all the bells and whistles, the slides quickly became secondary to greeting and the verbal pitch. What rolls of your tongue in the first 30-seconds sets the stage for the next 4-minutes and 30-seconds. I arrived late after taking the wrong train uptown. I keep forgetting the 2/3 doesn't travel up Broadway. That little mistake cost me meetings with AOL and Fremantle Media, but that's okay, I hadn't expected them to be there anyway and I'm so early, they wouldn't come into play until later anyway. This was my first event and I was really just there to get the experience. When I entered the hall, I was given a list of investors with their target industries, bios, and list of companies they'd invested in. I quickly tried to read through the list of over 40 investors, but it was made difficult because while there target industries were listed next to their names, the list wasn't categorized by vertical, for example Media & Entertainment or Health Care. I think they could do better by listing investors under specific categories. Because I'd never been to a Hatch Match, I didn't realize that I should have taken the list with me to the sign-up area, where appointment stickers were flying off the table. By the time I read through the list and approached the tables to make my appointments, many were already sold out. So, I tried my best to pick one angel, one institution, and one company with some local NYC media & entertainment experience. It was a bit of a scramble, with everyone jostling to see what was still available. The first two selections were more to get my feet wet. The third selection paid off in spades. We all actually know this person, because he is a vocal participant on this list. I wasn't sure it was the same person, but I quickly went back through some posts on my iPhone and was excited to actually meet him in person. Really nice guy. At the end of the day, this was my first Hatch Match. I didn't expect it to be a big win, but I did meet a lot of people and gained some very, very valuable experience. It's exciting to get in the game and run off your pitch to investors. What I can say is that you should be ready and be early. Throw out your one paragraph description of what you're trying to do, then when the questions start coming, jump to the pages in your deck to support your answers. I realized that with my deck, it's best to actually use a sticky or tab (between pages) so that you can quickly flip to the section you want to refer to. I hadn't though of that before, but I know to do that next time. I've also learned over the years that it's best to pitch strategically to investors in your area of expertise. It's really a waste of time to try and grab just any investor. Sure, you never know—but, it's probably better to be strategic. If you do just "go fish," you're kind of taking away someones opportunity. I'm sure people took meetings out from under me that they had no business meeting with, but they chose them because of the name brand. My takeaway was that it was very well worth it for the learning experience. I met some amazing people, like Selene Kepila from Care Data. You can feel the drive, passion, and motivation when she speaks about her products and services. I also met Matt Mankins from InAMoon.com, a service to "fair trade" content. It was good to catch up with Kwasi Asare (formerly of Bad Boy Entertainment) who's working on a next-gen web app service called Fighter. Gotta look into that one and get a handle on what they're doing. On the periphery of the main hall were tables from sponsor companies. Columbia had a table to support their students. MTV Mobile had a table. And, Gigapixel Creative, a local NYC web development house, had a table too. The end result for me is that my last meeting resulted in a follow-up. People with Northern European experience completely get the dance music thing. I can't say that for most Americans. It's really a sad state of affairs in this country, but that's why I'm setting out (again) to change it. Hey, when Randy Jackson can starts a dance music label, that must mean that the market is shifting. Hip-Hop is over. The golden age has come and gone. Times are shifting to Lady Gaga and David Guetta, and I'm going to be there to service that niche. Hope this helps some folks who are considering pitching at these types of events. I learned so much and feel like I'm really ready now to move forward with my plans. It gave me a lot of confidence to get in there and just do it. You just gotta get into the pit and make things happen. No matter how far you are along, it's good to get the experience under your belt. You'll get valuable feedback and it will help you in the long run.]]> 121 2010-06-06 01:53:20 2010-06-06 06:53:20 open open my-experience-pitching-investors-at-hatch-match publish 0 0 post 0 aktt_notify_twitter _aktt_hash_meta _edit_lock _edit_last _aioseop_description _aioseop_keywords _aioseop_title wordbooker_options aktt_tweeted dsq_thread_id Dance Music in the news! http://tonyzeoli.com/dance-music-in-the-news/ Sun, 06 Jun 2010 06:58:25 +0000 http://tonyzeoli.com/?p=123 http://articles.latimes.com/2010/may/30/entertainment/la-ca-summer-music-rave-20100530 Detroit News: http://detnews.com/article/20100601/ENT04/6010313/Movement-festival-sets-attendance-record-as-paid-event#ixzz0pcy86FoE Miami New Times: http://www.miaminewtimes.com/2010-03-18/music/ultra-music-festival-grows-again-in-2010 MTV Ultra Music Festival http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1634874/20100328/motley_crue.jhtml New York Times: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/08/nyregion/08dj.html]]> 123 2010-06-06 01:58:25 2010-06-06 06:58:25 open open dance-music-in-the-news publish 0 0 post 0 aktt_notify_twitter _aktt_hash_meta _edit_lock _edit_last _aioseop_title _aioseop_description wordbooker_options aktt_tweeted 8tracks handcrafted Internet radio powering a new generation of DJs http://tonyzeoli.com/8tracks-handcrafted-internet-radio-powering-a-new-generation-of-djs/ Sun, 06 Jun 2010 07:27:53 +0000 http://tonyzeoli.com/?p=125 8tracks is on of my favorite Internet radio sites. And, I'm not just saying that (disclosure: I'm on the Board of Advisors), because I'm down with the crew. It's just that these cats were able to survive the major label mafia and keep their handcrafted internet radio service available to wanna-be DJs. You gotta check out some of these mixes. Definitely music you won't hear on the radio. I'm digging this mix I posted from Aiden Bordner. Check this out and other phat mixes on 8tracks.com. Start your own radio station, tell your friends, and play all the music you probably have never heard, for as long as your ears can stand it. Anyone can become the DJ. I've got some joints on 8tracks as well. You can listen to my mixes on my profile here. ]]> 125 2010-06-06 02:27:53 2010-06-06 07:27:53 open open 8tracks-handcrafted-internet-radio-powering-a-new-generation-of-djs publish 0 0 post 0 aktt_notify_twitter _aktt_hash_meta _edit_lock _edit_last _aioseop_title _aioseop_description wordbooker_options aktt_tweeted dsq_thread_id Resume http://tonyzeoli.com/resume/ Mon, 14 Jun 2010 01:13:19 +0000 http://tonyzeoli.com/?page_id=128 Tony Zeoli Resume - Digital Strategy ]]> 128 2010-06-13 20:13:19 2010-06-14 01:13:19 open open resume publish 0 0 page 0 aktt_notify_twitter _aktt_hash_meta _edit_lock _edit_last wordbooker_options dsq_thread_id 8 tips to finding your way in a down economy http://tonyzeoli.com/8-tips-to-finding-your-way-in-a-down-economy/ Wed, 14 Jul 2010 16:17:31 +0000 http://tonyzeoli.com/?p=131 Ray Roker, posted this: Raymond Leon Roker: "Dear unemployed person, I feel for you, but the job you used to have doesn't exist anymore. No time to complain or whine about the "economy." You simply... Must. Learn. New. Shit." Learning is critical in today's job market. Here are some of the things I did to keep myself busy while seeking new employment. 1. I launched Wordpress Westchester using Meetup.com to promote myself and my colleagues as Wordpress experts. I've gotten a few clients through this method of self promotion. 2. Launched a Digital Media consulting company, Digital Strategy Works. The website is tied to Facebook and Twitter, and I am actively utilizing this resource for self-promotion and marketing.... See More 3. Hired an intern to help me promote and market DSW. There are plenty of young people who want to network and need experience. Even if you only need them 6 to 10 hours a week, it's enough to help you get your message out and start drumming up some business. 4. Volunteered to help build and manage a website for the National Museum of Hip-Hop. It was a ton of work, but keeping with the project gave the impression to others that I was busy working on something important. People like to work with people who are busy. If you sit around sending out resumes and hoping that someone is going to call you, they might, but what's more important is to stay visible in your field. Giving away your skills for free isn't easy, but it will show others that you are committed and that you can execute with nothing more than an idea. 5. Find public speaking opportunities and look in other markets. Don't be afraid to move to where you are needed, instead of beating your head against the wall in a major metro area. There is growth in other markets, you just need to be willing to look and move. While I am building Wordpress Westchester, I looked for other opportunities to speak about my experiences with Wordpress. When Wordcamp Raleigh came around a few months ago, I put together a presentation (available on my Slideshare.net account) and asked to speak. While there, I checked out the area, networked with a few web shops, and voila...got a client I am now doing a project for. In addition, that turned into a job opportunity. I sat down next to someone at lunch at the conference, made sure to say hello to him and ask him where he's from and what he's doing. That conversation turned into a job offer from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. I'm moving in a month. I know it's not easy to uproot your family, especially those with children in school, but you also can't keep killing yourself in the same place if opportunities do not exist where you are, or the competition is driving you out of the market. 6. Make sure you have the best resume and cover letter, but keep things short and to the point. Try as best you can to not take it personal when a recruiter or hiring manager passes you over. It's their problem, not yours. If you believe you are the most talented person for the job, maybe you are, but in a competitive market, maybe you're not. Like Raymond says, you've got to learn new skills. How do you do that with little income? It's called the Library. There are a ton of free meetups now. And, you can intern for others while you look. Make yourself useful, make an impact, and you will find what you are looking for. 7. Time. This all takes time. It can take 6 months to a year to reinvigorate your career, but I am living proof that you can leave your job in the worst economy in decades, start a consulting company, pick up clients, and even get a job. How did I do it? I kept busy and focused on the goal. It was so hard, to the point of tears and arguments at home, but in the end it all worked itself out. 8. I went back to school to get my degree in Digital Communications and Media from New York University. Graduated May 09. It's never too late to go back to school and cement your skills.]]> 131 2010-07-14 11:17:31 2010-07-14 16:17:31 open open 8-tips-to-finding-your-way-in-a-down-economy publish 0 0 post 0 http://tonyzeoli.com/photos-from-my-day-at-the-nasher-museum-vinyl-exhibit/ Sat, 16 Oct 2010 04:46:18 +0000 http://tonyzeoli.com/?p=144 Here are photos from the The Record: Contemporary Art and Vinyl at the Nasher Musuem of Art, a contemporary art museum on the campus of Duke University. While the exhibit was closed to photographers, I was able to take these shots of a few works displayed in the public atrium, as well as pictures of people listening to collections curated by featured artists on turntables and with headphones located in the atrium as well.
